BuzzLogic Surfacing the Influencers

I might have heard of BuzzLogic before today, but I could not have told you anything about it. I was prompted today to find out more by the announcement that my Thinking Home Business blog had been included in BuzzLogic’s Top 25 Influential SOBs list.

I’ve posted about the list, with more details on the bloggers included, at Thinking Home Business.

So what’s BuzzLogic about? According to the information on site:

BuzzLogic calculates and surfaces the influencers who are shaping and driving specific conversations in social media with algorithms that analyze relationships, such as who connects to whom, about what is happening and who is listening.

Their enterprise application

…allows advertisers, marketers and communications professionals to let influence be their guide as they maximize online advertising performance, blogger relations and product promotion campaigns.

More succinctly, BuzzLogic “provides on demand software to identify influencers in social media”.

BuzzLogic was in the news last month with its acquisition of Activeweave, the company behind BlogRoveR, a plug in that, as you browse the Internet, fetches stories from blogs you like.

Worth watching.
