On the Bus
A while ago in the post Zeusvison Levels the Outdoor Advertising Playing Field I wrote about an exciting new venture in which the Zeusvision company was putting ads on the side of buses, but with a very special twist of interest to anyone in small business, especially because of the amazingly economical aspect – with ads for as little as $99.
As I wrote in that post:
Think of Zeusvision as a huge iPhone™ on wheels that can position itself wherever the client desires, delivering customized multimedia messages and experiences for as little as $99.
It was great to have been invited to be part of the launch of this service and I waited eagerly to see my own ad on the Zeusvision bus. So the image has now arrived – see above – and I and others immediately loved what Zeusvision’s graphic people had done. Which is why it is now in pride of place as the header for this web site.
How Zeusvision Has Helped My Re-branding
In the words of the Immortal Bard, brevity is the soul of wit, and when I was working out what was to go on “my” bus, I was forced to confront the fact that having my then longish title/tagline of “Social Media Strategist, Business Coach and LinkedIn Expert” was going to be just too much. So I condensed it to Social Business Coach.
I did that with a smidgin of nervousness, as I’m pretty sure the significance of the term is not going to be immediately self-evident to everyone. Then I reflected that the significance of the longer title I was using might not have been as self-evident as I’d assumed.
But once I saw the picture of the bus, any qualms I had disappeared. The words felt right. And since then, in speaking to people about what I do and using the phrase “social business coach”, I’m finding that it seems to get immediate understanding.
So now I am refreshing my branding in various places across the social web and will probably invest in some new business cards. Someone said I should have the bus picture on my card. Good idea, or not?
