One event I would really love to get to some time is Le Web, held in Paris, France of course, on Dec 8-9. It claims, and justifiably as far as I know, to be the #1 Internet event in Europe. With 2500 or so participants and an array of Web business leaders as speakers, it must surely provide a great buzz.
This video from the LeWeb site made me wish the Fairy Godmother had appeared a week ago, waved her magic wand and produce a couple of business class tickets to Paris.
But iIf like me you didn’t get the FG plus magic wand visit and are unlikely to be able to get to Paris in the next 24 hours, you could get into some of the Le Web buzz via the Social Media Clubhouse live videocast.
Social Media Club has been developing this clubhouse concept for a while now, most recently at BlogWorld Expo in Las Vegas in October this year.
Social Media Clubhouse (#SMCH5 Twitter hashtag) features talk shows, interviews and more.
There is an impressive lineup of speakers, including Robert Scoble, Jeremiah Owyang, Tara Hunt and Matt Mullenweg.
